I'm worried about my chances of getting dementia or alzheimer's disease. My Mom passed last year with Parkinsons', which dementia was a part of. My Dad passed last November and had been living with Alzheimers' for 8 years. I personally have had sleep apnea for years, then as their caregiver for 5 years, my sleep patterns became worse. Are there any tests to determine if I'm at risk or even beginning down that road. I'll be 61 this year.

Folks;
I have Alzheimer's for 8 months, and a lack of sleep or any problem with sleep has not ! a part of my experience.
