My mother had dementia I tried to look after her. also my brother. 24 hrs a day care is too much for anyone. but she settled into a care home . she did not recognise us so she could not miss us.

With all my heart I sympathize with your decision. I was in a similar situation, but fortunately my sopuse and i had made our Health Care Living Will so the decisions were made pe his request. Due tio his advanced Alzheimers/Dementia he could not habe made the decisions for himself.
