Federal Initiative Brings Nursing Home Patients Home

The comment from godhelpme completely reinforces my experience with sites which, although kind and positive, do not get into the heart of the issues which are raised. Sites seem to offer bland generalised guidelines which not hit the uniqueness of every person requesting help. If anyone would care to contact me I would be glad to send them the workbook I use with our 90 staff who live in with people experiencing forms of brain disease which cause massive confusion. We have 12 key learning exercises which are best conducted in small groups by a good facilitator. Our purposes include discovering the unique characteristics of each interpersonal network of carers and learn how they can be enhanced to provide well being for ALL.
