This was a great article! Phones and technology in general can be very scary for the elderly. But, a cell phone is not always the best thing as it is easy to lose and their is a monthly fee, etc. Another solution is FotoDialer. It allows the user to dial phone numbers by photos that are 2x3 inches. It is for analog land lines and connects to the existing phone, has no monthly fee, and is very intuitive. FotoDialer holds 24 pictures in its six pages. The person just finds the photograph of the person/place they want to call and pushes a big black button next to their face and FotoDialer calls that person. The first page is dedicated to emergency numbers. http://www.PhotoDialing.com or http://www.FotoDialer.com
