- About
Hello! I'm Missy and have been working for Caring.com since October 2007. I'm a Community Moderator. My job is to make sure Caring.com's community is a safe, peaceful and comfortable place for our members. I've participated in online communities for the past eight years and have worked in them for the past three.
In my personal life, I've provided care for both of my parents and both of my in-laws. We've dealt with issues such as lung cancer, brain tumors and cardiovascular disease. In my professional life I spent five years working to educate seniors about their health and long-term care insurance options. You could say I'm waist-deep in caregiving issues whether I'm doing it myself or helping others. Caring.com is the perfect place for me!
Now for some fun - I love animals, red wine, the beach, extra time to spend with my husband and children in any given day, everything auto-racing related and I'm trying desperately to at least tolerate exercise.
I'll update my bio if I should find a love for it!Your turn! Now it's time for you to tell us a bit about yourself in your bio!
