Jessica Krant, Dermatologist


Jessica J. Krant, MD, MPH, is a board-certified dermatologist in NYC specializing in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, including Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery. In addition to her work in private practice, Krant is assistant clinical professor of dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

Krant has authored textbook chapters as well as journal articles for publication, consulted for industry, and presented at medical conferences. Her opinions are quoted in the press and she has been a regular columnist for Consumer's Union ShopSmart magazine as well as a contributor to the OnHealth newsletter.

After graduating from Harvard College magna cum laude, Krant attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society Honors, receiving both an MD and a master's degree in public health. Krant completed her medicine internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. After completing formal American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship training, she is now a member of the ACMS.
