    - My mother is indicating that her jaw pain is becoming more frequent and lasting longer instead of a piercing jaw pain that she had at the beginning. She is 92 and does use Nitro for the piercing pain. Is this a symptom that the blockage is getting more severe?

    - Is coughing blood a symptom of congestive heart failure (CHF), particularly at end-stage? My dad is 81, with advanced CHF. He frequently coughs up a lot of phlegm, but tonight it's mostly bright blood equaling a couple of teaspoons every 20 minutes or so. It looks more like a nose bleed; not clots.
