2. Will morphine help my father with his breathing or just make him tired?

   My 82 yr old dad has esrd(on dialisys) and copd. he has steadily been getting worse and now can't walk 15' with getting all outo of breath. He was on Spiriva and them a nebulizer, but he didn't seem to be getting much help out of them. With the esrd it just complicates the matter. He is also on oxygen 24 hours a day...
