How long does it take to regain bladder control through physical therapy?
There are no hard-and-fast rules, and physical therapy doesn't work for everyone. According to Harrington, building up to normal bladder control can take several months, but generally speaking, a patient should see some improvement in a short amount of time. "As a rule of thumb, it takes three to four weeks to notice small changes," says Harrington. But even small changes should make her feel more in control.
