Actually about 1 year ago I observed that my husband was taking too much time sorting his pills at then I noticed that he seemed confused. At that point I started sorting his medication and we keep a typed medication schedule on our kitchen counter and in both of our cars. In addition, we always have a current schedule to take to any and all of his doctors. He has thanked me many times for taking over that particular problem. He never asked for help!

I have been in Early Stage Parkinson's for several years; I've had my throat [vocal cords] examined and then went thru 3 months of speech therapy to loosen them from stiffnes; it was very helpful. I still have trouble swallowing water and often it gets into the esophagus causing coughing. I find a STRAW is very helpful and just PAYING ATTENTION when swallowing pills and drinking water. Donna
