Our company is New Age Manufacturing, and we manufacture Prevention Oncology Mouth Rinse. We hear everyday the frantic calls from those suffering from the effects of chemo therapy and radiation. Prevention Mouth Rinse is a non alcohol formula with a high ratio of glycerin which keeps the mouth hydrated. I can not tell you how many times that I've heard the comment from our oncology customers, "I can't eat without using your product". I also suggest to many of our callers who suffer with thrush to eat lots of Greek Yogurt. It's cool, soft, refreshing, and seems to help combat that tongue that feels like it's on fire.

please correct the word parent to patient, very misleading, and re-read mindgardner's message trying to tell you this

Hi mindgardener, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Caring.com is focused on eldercare caregivers. Because of this, the majority of our members are caregivers for the elderly which is reflected in some of our content. However, I completely agree that it's important for patients to do their own research, if they are able, and I do think our content is helpful to patients as well. Thanks again for your comments. Please resist addressing articles only to the caregiver. I have advanced metastatic breast cancer, and am a cogent, independent adult. I believe that whenever possible, we must be students of our own diseases, using the web, physicians, and alternative modalities to manage side effects and quality of life issues. To read "remove mouthwash from the room as it has alcohol that will make YOUR PARENT'S mouth sores worse," or words to that effect make me feel a bit patronized. Perhaps address "the patient or caregiver," "you or your parent", etc. (Also, many of us care for family with cancer who are neither elderly nor our parent.) Thanks for hearing this. Thanks, too, for many useful tips and helpful research summaries about cancer and breast cancer.

I had bad sores and then my daughter found this. One day has not healed, but helped in the healing or controlling the soreness.
