This information is very informative. I wish I had known more about this a few months ago. I had a mini-stroke and did not go to the ER but to the doctor's the next day and had to go for several tests.

Very helpfull information! More info of this kind should be posted in Drs. offices, hospitals and also pamplets explaning this in terms where normal people can understand. Many people have no clue what to look for or what to ask when they are in this kind of situation.

my husband had a right sided stroke 1 year ago when he went to ER they must have been talking about TPA because one of the er personnel had a syringe in his hand but after exray and evaluation they must have decided he was having a TIA because at no point did they inject him Thanks to your information I now know why ~ My husband is on Plavix in the last few months he has been experincing light-headidness & weakness in the right side of his body could this possibly be caused by the Plavix? Thank you
