Try a personal care garment that covers your loved one while bathing. No more embarrassment! It's available from a nonprofit org called Dignity Rresource Council. Their site is www.dignityrc.org
We have added a bathing chair (you can order them online) that sits in the shower and have also added a shower head on a hose so that he can sit and bathe himself somewhat. It really works well.
