The bad effects of dehydration and how much water to drink for your body size is extremely helpful.
It's essential to know how helpful pomegranate, cranberry and beet juice would be for lowering my blood pressure. And, I've always ignored hibiscus tea and now I find that it's one of the best things for me!
I sincerely thank you for such vital information!

In Febuary this year I fell and broke my risk and I spent overnight in the hospital and was told that my blood pressure was high and was put on medication and a low sodium diet. so when I came home the next day , I got the medication the doctor gave me and when I took it , it made my whole body cramp and I thought I was going to die and I thought of the low soduim diet and I went for it and my blood pressure is normal plus I exercise everyday . I ask the doctor when he was taking off the cast , why doctors don't tell people about low sodium diet will low your blood pressure ? He told me he is no a medical doc , but a bone specialist and I went sodium free and I am fine and healthy ,thanks for finding information and i will only go to a doc for a cheek up or broken bone and nothing else.

The article was very helpful due to the fact I do have high blood pressure and would found that if I can lower it, and this may be the start of my trip down to lowering my blood pressure and High Chol. Thanks for the this information and now I have to put it into motion. I need the will power to do it and I'm hoping I can do it. One of my son, is into this type of food, and I will be asking him since all the food that help is what I see him eating, so it a big start for me - just pray I will will power to do it.

Might I suggest that we stop sucking up to the American Dairy Association and consider that milk contains lactose, cholesterol and methianine that increases the viscosity of the blood. While we are all born with the intolerance for the lactose in cow's milk and our bodies are trained to tolerate it, when many of us reach older ages, we lose the tolerance. By age 84, nobody is lactose tolerant, therefore, rather than digest in the digestive system, it merely rots, thus releasing toxicity that is harmful. The calcium and beneficial nutrients are available in soy milk, almond milk, flax milk and others, while with flax milk there is a lack of protein that can be gained with an extra helping of legumes. While we "help reduce systolic blood pressure" when we consume low-fat dairy products, we add to our lactose, cholesterol and methianine, yet you never tell us what we may consume or what we must do to offset the harmful effects of these ingredients. Furthermore, an inquiring mind may question the effects that you may know about, or should know about, to our diastolic blood pressure caused by dairy products that are being hidden from us. Only a minute number of experts may be capable of avoiding ingesting dairy products in our daily lives inasmuch as our society is centered on the use of diary and animal product in essentially everything that comes to us over the counter, which is more the reason that we must be encouraged to avoid as much dairy product as we possibly can in order to improve our ability to reach our optimum condition. Basically, I am saying that dairy products are more harmful than they are helpful when there are alternatives available that do not contain the harmful ingredients.

I I want to lower my blood pressure but I also have to guard against too much potassium in my system. My Doctor tells me that I must keep the potassium below the 5.0 mark but if I am not careful it has been up to 5.8. Oddly enough, when my potasium level registers at 5.8 I feel best and even my eyesight seems to be sharper. I would give up beer if I were permitted to drink all the orange juice I craved.

At a recent physical, doctor said a part of my heart is enlarged and they will be watching it. Am already on blood pressure medicine so am interested in the information on blood pressure lowering food and drink. I plan to implement as many of the suggestions as I can. Thank You.

I have always known pinto beans to be a great food and I kind of favor them, black beans are also very liked legumes of mine. I enjoy them with a couple of corn tortillas and a side of avocado. If I want to make it a luxurious meal, I add two or three roasted hot long green chilies and maybe two roasted cloves of garlic as well...

Excellento! I knew about the water, but not the others, Unfortunately I dont think I could come at the Beetroot juice. It would be like eating pumpkin, which I have always had a problem with, since watching pigs, guzzle them when I was very young on my Uncle's farm!
