San Mateo, CA, May 30, 2014 -- Caring.com a leading senior care resource for family caregivers in the United States, has added Shannon Ingram as Vice President, Industry Marketing and Brennan Hughes as National Accounts Director. Ingram and Hughes join the company’s new senior housing industry marketing team that already includes Megan Fletcher, formerly of Merrill Gardens, who arrived several months ago as Director of Client Services.

Shannon Ingram formerly served as Vice President/Marketing and Communications for Silverado Senior Living and President of GenAge Marketing. She brings more than 25 years of experience in hospitality, technology, and senior housing marketing to her new role at Caring.com. She is the author of a book about caregiving for her parents, "The Heart Way -- A Journey from Corporate to Care," and is an accomplished speaker who has presented at many senior housing industry events on topics related to digital marketing, social media and emerging technologies.

Brennan Hughes most recently served as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Emeritus Senior Living overseeing the largest and top-performing region in the division with more than 1,000 units. Prior to that she was a Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Brookdale Senior Living for several years, where she focused on sales strategies to drive census and exceeding budgeted occupancy goals.
