Based in San Mateo, CA and backed by prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firms, Caring.com is the leading online destination for people struggling with the day-to-day realities of caring for aging parents, spouses or other loved ones. We provide much needed information, emotional support and access to local care resources.

We are looking for an intellectually curious, analytical and resourceful individual to lead our in-house business intelligence efforts. The Senior Business Analyst will support the rapid growth of Caring.com’s lead generation business. Working closely with the engineering and business teams, you will generally be the analytical “brains” behind optimizing the business in the following areas: SEM, affiliate management, contact center performance and b2b content marketing. You will also help to define our next generation analytics platform and act in the role of product manager for certain software development projects.

Must Have Skills:

  • Demonstrated analytical expertise in a business setting

  • Off-the-charts analytical and quantitative skills

  • Ability to write SQL queries

  • Excellent Excel skills and the demonstrated ability to learn new analytical tools and technologies quickly

  • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced start-up environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong work ethic and a can-do-attitude

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university

Pluses:

  • MBA from a top-tier university

  • Experience in the lead generation industry

  • Experience as an analyst in the financial or management consulting sectors

  • Product management of business systems
